Hey Reader,
I used to think if I visualized it hard enough, you know, lit the candle, journaled the vision, closed my eyes and really felt it—I’d become the person I dreamed of being.
Entrepreneur. Author. Someone who was free, lit-up, and living on purpose.
And don’t get me wrong—I love me some good visualization. Heart-centered embodiment. I’ve got vision boards that could win awards.
But here’s what I learned the hard way:
No one else can see what’s in your head.
You can sit in meditation imagining your dream life, but if you're not taking action to embody it out loud, it stays stuck in the realm of imagination.
I remember one day, post-visualization glow still humming in my chest, I thought:
“But who knows I’m doing this? Who sees me showing up as her?”
The answer? No one. Not even me, really, if I'm honest.
The Messy → Magical Shift
Identity doesn’t shift in silence.
Transformation is anchored in action, especially when you show up as the version of you you’re becoming.
You don’t wait until you are her to act like her.
You become her by acting like her. Thinking like her. Responding like her.
Guys, you get the gist ;)
And here's the magic: when you start to show up visibly, even just a little bit, posting the first offer, sharing your truth, naming your new identity out loud—it reflects something back to you. To your community. And to the Universe.
You’re not just imagining change. You're living it.
And others begin to respond to the you you’re becoming.
It's when vision and action become aligned, that's where the magic happens.
✨ 3 Ways to Anchor Identity Through Aligned Action
Here’s how to go from inner vision to outer embodiment, without the spiritual bypassing:
1. Share your becoming before it’s “done.”
You don’t need a polished brand or perfect bio to start showing up.
Post about what you’re learning. Share your messy middle. Talk about what’s shifting.
Being seen in the in-between is powerful. It signals: I’m already becoming her/him.
2. Make one bold move in alignment with the identity you’re stepping into.
That might mean launching the workshop, raising your prices, or telling someone what you really do now. Ask yourself: What would future me do today? Then do that. (Yes, even if it makes your voice shake.)
3. Let your community witness the shift.
Your nervous system calibrates faster when others see you clearly.
Say it out loud: “I’m stepping into this next version of myself.”
Speak it. Write it. Let it echo. Because when others start reflecting it back to you? That’s when your new identity locks in.
A Spark of Inspiration:
"Identity is not what you believe—it’s what you embody.”
— James Clear
You don’t become the version of you you’re meant to be by thinking your way there.
You practice being them. You express them. You embody their energy.
The doing creates the becoming.
I'd love to tell ya there's another way, my friend!
And the more visible your actions, the more magnetic your transformation becomes.
💬 Your Turn. What’s one brave action you could take this week that would say yes to the version of you you’re becoming?
Reply and tell me! I’ll cheer you on like your future self already would.
To more clarity, confidence, and ease—one messy step at a time.
